Long Weeks and Tim Tebow

It's been a long week. A long week of ups, downs, spiritual victories, and valleys. You know what though? God is still good. He is always good. He never fails and he has a plan for my life that is so much more than I can imagine. How can I be this positive... well because I learned true joy.  Jesus is my joy.  He is my everlasting joy. So Joy (me), I thought you already had joy because of what you wrote on the last blog post. And you know what... I had to relearn and learn again because I'm human and my flesh still fails. I fail. I am not perfect in any means. However I'm in a process called progressive sanctification in which I am becoming more like Jesus. It's because of his power, his blood, his grace, his mercy, his love and the power of the transforming power of the Holy Spirit I am becoming more like him. 

Some of you might be asking how does Tim Tebow tie into this blog post... I got to hear him speak last night. He spoke so much of what I needed to hear for my life. And to my female readers... I will honestly admit he is way more attractive in person than in a picture. That is beside the point. The words he spoke well were powerful. He shared his testimony but also had other points that reminded me that God has a plan. I'm not in control. God is. I may not understand what his plan in but it is good because God is good. My reasoning may not make sense to some but I know who my God is. My God is faithful and true. He never fails! My God is everlasting. He is the Alpha and Omega.
