Breaking Blindfolds

Breaking the clay blindfolds. As Christians of this world we are often blinded by what stuff or what things God can do for us. The question  believers sometime ask "What can God do for me today?" I have talked about this point on Facebook before pointing to the fact that what Jesus Christ did for all people is enough. However the Lord has been breaking a blindfold of the area of stuff. God is not a genie of when we ask our three wishes he grants them as so. I'm not saying that the Lord does not answer prayers, he most certainly does. I am living proof of praying and other people's prayers. Do not treat God as genie from the movie Aladdin.

Some of you are asking when is she going to get to her point well here it is... Grow to know Jesus not through what he can do for you but what you can give to him through your life. Also it's about growing to know God better and not the stuff. I define stuff as anything that can distract us from the true relationship we can have with Christ.  I want to pray so that I can know him better. I want to read my bible so I can understand the character of God better. Live for the relationship with Christ  instead of the stuff that rust and moth doth corrupt.
