Advent: Wonder and Beauty

We ponder. We wonder at the coming of you, Our Savior.

We ponder in wonder that you would come to us, O Lord.

You came into the lowest of scenes taking on flesh.

You the God-Man, we cannot fully comprehend this union. 

Let us be astonished and amazed even as the shepherds were.

Let us reflect and be reminded of how you stepped into the world you created. 

You stepped into darkness as the great Light. 

To become Our Light and Our Hope.

Let us once again meditate upon these truths. 

You came, you lived, you died and rose again! 

This is the beauty of Christmas. The beauty of the Gospel.

That you stepped into our brokeness, our sin, and our shame to become Our Great Savior 

Let us rejoice in your coming to us! 

Let us rejoice again because you came to us! 

Let us rejoice because you died for us taking on our sin! 

Let us rejoice because you rose again, bringing new life abundant!
