For Days When You Feel Unseen

So she named the Lord who spoke to her: “You are El-roi,” for she said, “In this place, have I actually seen the one who sees me?”

 Genesis 16:13

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens—Jesus the Son of God—let us hold fast to our confession.  For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.

 Hebrews 4:14–16.

When you feel short of words to express, to whom do you look?

What do you feel when your words do not seem to be enough to ring in the ears of the ones you love?

You may shrink back and remain silent. You may think you are not seen nor heard.

But weak and weary soul, look up!

Remember the One who created you and sees you. You are seen by your creator.

Remember your Creator is the one who longs to hear from you.

The one who knows your very heart and gave you the emotions you feel.

For He hears you and sees you in weariness of each day.

And His grace will carry you through the days to come.

Your tears are not forgotten, your sadness is not looked over.

He sees and He hears.

El Roi- The God who sees.
