But Not Without Hope

Grief has been a close companion.

But not without Hope.

Each day the phone sits without a call from you.

Everyday wanting to talk to you. 

Wondering if you know that I want talk to you.

Sorrow has been there too and accompanied with tears.

But not without Hope.

Everyday I look for a text from you.

But my heart is not fulfilled.

One day we will be reunited again.

You are in eternity and I am left with memories.

But not without Hope.

I wish I could call you.

I wish I could text you. 

I will see you again because we share this same Hope.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 NIV

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
