A Hunger for Your Word

 O Lord, how foolish are we when we look to other things which cannot satisfy our longings.

Our hearts often wander away from you who who holds life everlasting. 

Why O Lord do we wander when you hold the words of eternal life? 

Why do I fear when I have failed you O Lord in my sin? 

So I repent to you from the times I failed you, from the times my heart wanders off the narrow path.

Let me return to you again o Lord resting in your grace.

Give us a desire O Lord to do your will.

Give us a hunger o Lord for your word again. 

Let us become satisfied again in your Word for it holds the words of life.

It holds the words of hope which bring eternal life. 

So let us continue to hunger for your word

And let us rest in these unchanging truths.
