The Writing Process For God's Glory

Writing has always been an enjoyable thing in my life since high school. I am genuinely thankful for the people who influenced my love for writing and the desire to continue to d so. I know this blog has been relatively silent about the truths of God's word lived out throughout my life. And to be honest, a lot of my lack of writing has been due to pride and sin in my life of relying upon myself for my words, my written words to be perfect. Now striving to do your best for God's glory is not sinful, but striving to rely on your own abilities and knowledge for something to be perfect is sin.

And why is it sinful? For starters, my end goal was for my writing to be perfect for my own cause and not God's glory. Secondly, it is because I am looking to my abilities, training,  and knowledge to be enough to pull out all the truth in scripture in and of itself, which it is not. Lastly, I haven't relied on God nearly enough to help me complete blog posts and to complete any and all thoughts.

If anything, I have learned that in all things we do, we ought to do them for God's glory and not for our own cause or even the approval of others.

So going forward in any writing process and even in this blog, with the Lord's help, this blog will be something more for His Glory.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV
