All The Thoughts: Christmas

Four hours gives you time to think. It's  given me time to think. To think on and about Christ.  As I took a class on the book Hebrews, I am reminded why he came and what Christ came to fulfill. I think, God I am so undeserving and yet you gave. Christ came as fulfillment to earth, a fulfillment of the perfect prophet, priest, and king. Though these are Christ's titles that he fufills, think about the humility of coming into this earth as a baby when you are the King of kings. Why not come as an adult man?  I find the answer in Hebrews 2:14-15 “Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.”

Christ took part so he could save us. Jesus our Immanuel, God with us.
