Thankfulness: A Year Later

I stand in the place where I sat when I my heart was broken. Little did I know, God was going to use it for good.  It is difficult to hear the phrase " I want to break up with you.." Well, that's  what happened to me a year ago today. I write this not to spite, shame or hurt my ex-boyfriend. I write this to say that I am thankful for what the Lord has done through this.
1. The Lord has taught me to trust him even when it does not look good in my eyes.
2. Jesus Christ will always love me and never leave me no matter what.
3. My everything is and should be in Christ.
4. In my brokenness, Christ will carry me through.
5. God's promises are true.
6. Pride truly comes before the fall.
7. Be thankful for what you cannot comprehend because it is all in the Father's hands.
8. Pray for those who have hurt you.

I have been able to grow in the Lord more than I never thought I could because of his choice. Thank you for breaking up with me. I am not bitter or angry with him though in the world's eyes I should be. He caused me to draw closer to Christ and I will be forever grateful.
